Merry Christmas, guys!
This Christmas Week, I want to talk to you about amazement. Do we see the wonder in God the same way Anna and Simeon did when Our Lord was presented in the Temple? If we were at the manger scene, would we have been amazed?
G.K. Chesterton once said, ““The world will never starve for want of wonders; but only for want of wonder.” There are so many amazing things in this world, and we are unfazed and accustomed to so many of them.
This Christmas season, let us bask in the wonder and majesty of the God of the Universe, who willingly chose to come to us as a tiny baby. Let the Word Made Flesh dwell among us!
Stick around to the end for my friend Sarah Kroger sharing some beautiful Christmas music! And join Sarah, Fr. Joe Krupp and I for a pilgrimage in September 2024 to follow the steps of St. Paul in Greece.
