Joseph Pearce, one of the top Catholic intellectuals in the world and a leading Tolkien scholar, is joining Chris to talk about the trilogy that its author called a “a fundamentally religious and Catholic work; unconsciously so at first, but consciously in the revision.”
Pearce has written multiple books about Middle-Earth and Catholicism, and is the editor of multiple intellectual publications, such as the Imaginative Conservative. He’s also a friend of Chris’s.
